Best known for being the guitar player hand-picked by Europe for the tour after the global takeover by the band on The Final Countdown, Kee Marcello ended up putting his signature sound on the Out of This World and Prisoners in Paradise albums. After leaving Europe, he has kept fairly quiet, but also releasing a few independent albums. Now, he comes back full force with a massive, arena ready, hard rock release! This is the melodic, but ROCKING version of Europe that all the fans have been waiting for!

Make no mistake about it….. Of all the bands – let not call them side projects, as they are worth more than that – Ginger has been in whilst in The Wildhearts and without, MV has long held the suspicion that Hey! Hello! is the one he liked best. Originally emerging as part of a three album Pledge project a few years back, the shimmering, sunny completely unashamed rock n roll vibe of the record was at odds with the lyrics (in the way that Ginger’s best songwriting always was) and it spawned the quite fantastic “How I Survived The Punk Rock Wars”. All was set, then, for album number two.

Vocal Jazz, Soul | Label: Hallmark | Release Year: 2013

Signed by Capitol in 1960, Nancy Wilson enjoyed her first hit with Guess Who I Saw Today, a single that would prove to be the first of several major hits for the singer. By 1962 Nancy was rightfully regarded as one of the best female singers around, mixing Dinah Washingtons jazz stylings with Sarah Vaughans jazz tone, a mix that proved irresistible on Nancys collaborative album with Cannonball Adderley. Later the same year Nancy released Hello Young Lovers, her fourth album for Capitol. With arrangements by George Shearing, the album continued her hot streak, hitting #49 on the Billboard chart and earning her a number of monikers, of which Fancy Miss Nancy would appear to be the most apt.

In 2016, Cheap Trick were finally elected into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which is often a double-edged sword for a working band. While the induction represents a powerful acknowledgment of their legacy, it's also an honor most often bestowed on bands that are well past their golden era…

Snapper's Hello Mary Lou spotlights Ricky Nelson's hits recorded in the '50s and '60s including "Travelin' Man," "Stood Up," "Poor Little Fool," and " Hello Mary Lou." While this set isn't bad for casual listeners, the better choice is Greatest Hits on Capitol, as it includes "Garden Party" and other favorites not included on this compilation.

Following two studio recordings, this impressive band hit the road and cut this session with keyboardist George Duke. Their encounter provided for an uneven, but infectious, recording. "Hip Pockets," composed by Cobham, and "Ivory Tattoo," composed by Scofield, begin the session with some intense playing. Things get a bit goofy with "Space Lady" (a song which probably worked better live), and a bit melodramatic with "Almustafa the Beloved."

MP3 320 kbps CBR | 48:53 min | 112 MB
Genre: Jazz | Label: Concord Records

Pianist Monty Alexander had a reunion tour with his former sidemen, bassist John Clayton and drummer Jeff Hamilton, in 1983. The resulting CD was recorded live in a West German club. Alexander is the main soloist (as expected) but Clayton has several memorable spots where he utilizes his bow, particularly on Charlie Chaplin's "Smile." Other highlights of this excellent straight-ahead release include "Two Bass Hit," Clayton's '"Blues for Stephanie," and "Love You Madly." Recommended.

Collection includes: Black Country Communion (2010); Black Country Communion 2 (2011); Live Over Europe (2012); Afterglow (2012).
