The 5th album by the American Hard Rock band Dirty Looks, released in 1989 by Atlantic Records. This cd sound fits right in with all the great cds he has put out in the past and keeps the 80's feel but makes it fresher. Vocals are outstanding, Guitars and musicianship are excellent.
Dangerous Toys is an Austin, Texas-based hard rock band with often humorous lyrics. Founded in 1987, Dangerous Toys had released four full-length albums and one live album before unofficially disbanding at the turn of the millennium. The R*tist 4*merly Known as Dangerous Toys is the fourth album by Dangerous Toys. The album's title is a parody of the name used in reference to American recording artist Prince from 1991 - 2000. The album cover art work is also a parody of Prince's album Lovesexy.
Silje Nergaard is an award-winning Norwegian jazz-pop singer/songwriter who peaked in popularity after the turn of the century with the chart-topping albums. „Chain Of Days“ is her newest album featuring eleven diverse overwritings put together in an album with the melody in focus.
Attic's debut album, 'The Invocation', is an album that King Diamond could listen to, think he himself had written and then also performed on. The songs presented here are filled with horror/occult inspired lyrics, a singer that sounds as every bit as strong or stronger than King Diamond, has well written songs and excellent guitar work.
The Great singer is back! His voice is huge, his voice color unique, the sweetness coming out of that larynx is breathtaking. Superb vocalist is once more working together with his buddy Hugo Mariutti, the two of them also arranged the album co-production. Amazing structure and terrific playing.
Ignatius was born at the turn of the Century as a project, idea, wish, need. Today is a fact. All these years thinking about how to show to the audience their influences, made them more creative and mature. Now, after a long and a hard way, their compositions are ready to be recorded and performed. Their music is under the influence of the Seventies classic symphonic Progressive rock. The aim is to reproduce the feeling of this period but with a personal "touch": landscapes with atmospherical synths, agressive and powerfull, sweet harmonies and guitar lines flying over the music they build the album.
"Bootlegs" is a compilation of material that was "written before and after 'Cool From the Wire' and 'Turn of the Screw'." As with those two albums, the material on this disc is excellent and surprisingly well recorded, considering that this disc was produced without the help of Max Norman. Very impressive songs with the late Henrik Ostergaard on vocals. As always great hooks with crunchy riffs that will get your head shakin' and your feet stompin'. "Bootlegs" was released in 1991 and is now almost impossible to find.
