We hope that the "Action Animation" accurately portraits youngest generation of animated film makers in Poland.
A wide variety of topics and problems are presented on this 2-DVD set: nostalgic stories about the transience and loneliness are intertwined with the bitterly criticized consumerism. Delicate films about love in contrast to the sad visions of the future. The authors attempt to film psychoanalysis and "playing chess" with the memories.
The selection of titles reflects the diversity of techniques used by the contemporary film artists in Poland: a classical and computer animation, the stories painted directly into the camera - on the glass and canvas, collages and drawings, and the live cutouts. "Action Animation" is also a record of changes that have taken place in the Polish animation in the last two decades, as seen from the perspective of young artists.
This set is an important complement to the previous three anthologies, which together present to the entire history of Polish animation.

3. Mu Di :
In the list of 150 best animated films of all time, compiled at the festival Laputa-2003
4. Shan shui qing :
"Impressions (feelings) from the mountains and waters" animated style of Tae Wei is very different from that to which used and on the East and West, it resembles a traditional Chinese painting in bright colors with smooth lines, as in watercolors. As distinguished from the joyous "Shepherd's pipe", this work is imbued with a deep sense of sadness that is probably a consequence experienced the Cultural Revolution.

Animation: Le Building - Gobelins (2005)  Video

Le Building is an animated short film made by a team of 5 french students (Olivier Staphylas, Marco Nguyen, Pierre Perifel, Xavier Ramonede and Rémi Zaarour) from the animation school "the Gobelins" in Paris, France.
It was made as an opening short done for the Annecy 2005 international animation festival, so it had to be funny and/or punchy. After developing the story to find an idea all the team members liked and would be happy to work on, they came up with a simple one. A grandmother wants her neighbour to stop singing so loud – and the main focus of the film ends up being the crazy chain reaction which follows. Its a pleasure to watch.
The movie was completed in 4 and a half months, including screenplay, storyboards and designs. The technique is a mix between traditional 2D, Flash, and 3D animation. With these differing techniques used, the challenge was to blend them so that the audience won't notice it too much. For example the pizza guy, his bike, the bus, and the crane are in 3D. The cat on the pizza guy's head is animated with Flash and the other characters are traditionally animated in 2D.

Desopilante historia en donde se entrelazan las situaciones para llegar, en un increscendo absurdo, al paroxismo total de la ridiculez, esa donde todo está bien y cualquier cosa es graciosa.
