David Gilmour in Concert is a DVD of Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour's solo concert at the Royal Festival Hall, London in June 2001, as part of the Robert Wyatt-curated Meltdown festival. It also features additional footage recorded during three concerts at the same venue in January 2002. The track selection includes several Pink Floyd compositions in addition to Gilmour's solo works. Guest appearances are made by Floyd colleague Richard Wright, as well as Robert Wyatt and Bob Geldof. It includes the first ever performance of "Smile" a track which would appear almost five years later on Gilmour's third solo album - "On an Island".

12 Jul 1984, Allentown Stadium Arena, Allentown Pennsylvania.
The sound is excellent, it has to be taken right from the console. This recording was probably taken from the soundboard. Excellent quality, great performance. This is the complete radio broadcast of the concert. One of the best versions of Money that I have ever heard.
Band:
David Gilmour -guitars, vocals
Mick Ralphs - gutar, vocals*
Chris Slade - drums*

Mojo Presents David Gilmour & Friends. Some three years ago, David Gilmour very kindly sent Mojo a cover version of The Beatles’ "Here, There And Everywhere". After a spot of cajoling he’s finally agreed to let include it on the free CD that comes with the new edition of Mojo (October 15 / #263). "I really wish I had been in The Beatles," Gilmour tells Mojo of the genesis behind his cover. "They taught me how to play guitar, I learnt everything. The bass parts, the lead, the rhythm, everything. They were fantastic." That love is manifested on the wonderful harmony-filled cover of the 1966 Revolver original recorded with his son Joe. Previously unreleased anywhere. A number of Gilmour’s closest collaborators appear on this compilation while the guitarist is featured on six of the tracks himself, including songs from Phil Manzanera, Robert Wyatt and The Pretty Things.
