With her pre-bop piano style, cool but sensual singing, and fortuitously photogenic looks, Diana Krall took the jazz world by storm in the late '90s. By the turn of the century she was firmly established as one of the biggest sellers in jazz. Her 1996 album, All for You, was a Nat King Cole tribute that showed the singer/pianist's roots, and since then she has stayed fairly close to that tradition-minded mode, with wildly successful results. A collection of romantic ballads and jazz standards performed by great сanadian singer and pianist Diana Krall. The recording quality and choice of the songs shouldn't leave indifferent your hearts.

Diana Ross remained a larger-than-life figure throughout the '90s, but she hadn't had a major hit since 1986. Every Day Is a New Day was designed to change that. Stepping Out launched the career of one of our generation’s greatest Jazz artists. Diana Krall’s 1993 debut shows that she had the goods right from the get-go. Krall sings with honesty, subtlety, and persuasion while playing the piano with head-shaking authority, both as accompanist - she offers amazing asides in between vocal phrases - and as an absolutely A-one improviser. The Justin Time Essentials Collection introduces the album to a new generation of fans, but this time with an added bonus track from the original sessions – Diana's incredible arrangement of "Summertime".
