The magic of this very special night was captured perfectly. “The Night Of Night - Live” comes as DVD/2CD Digipak, incl. the full show (more than two hours playing time) on both DVD and CD. The DVD additionally comes up with the band’s six official video clips. Over 2 hours of power folk-metal, simply something which you have to own!!!
The evolution of ELVENKING is quite impressive. With constant quality, the Italians have become one of Europe’s leading folk band. At the same time, the band managed to refine their unique sound. Regarding their brand new release “The Pagan Manifesto“, it’s obvious that ELVENKING - again – have exceeded themselves and deliver the most rich and mature album of their career so far. While 2012’s “Era” album marked something like a new beginning for the band, ELVENKING continue right there but also extend the folk part, revisiting releases like the debut “Heathenreel”, the follow-up “Wyrd” and 2006’s “The Winter Wake”.
Two years after “Red Silent Tides”, Italian folk power metal cult act ELVENKING return with their new studio album “Era”. “This is indeed a bright new ERA and we managed to start it just by looking at our past career and by reconnecting with our deepest roots…” states the band. And rightfully so: “Era” includes just everything the ELVENKING fan will love. The stylistic spectrum covers songs going from high speed folk metal to melodic and romantic ballads, from crushing metal and melancholic mid tempo tracks to acoustic folk tunes.
Produced and mixed by Dennis Ward (ANGRA, PINK CREAM 69, PRIMAL FEAR), the successor to 2007's The Scythe will show once again Elvenking's songwriting abilities, a high taste for great melodies and the will to break the boundaries and push the band to the next level.
4 years after the release of their critically acclaimed self-titled debut album, Furor Gallico have finally announced the new chapter in their fast rising career, ‘The Songs From The Earth’, out February 17th, 2015 on Scarlet Records. The new album sees the band exploring many different musical landscapes, being rooted in the evocative folk metal they are known for but going way beyond it. After having toured the world with renowned acts such as Stratovarius, Haggard, Folk Stone, Elvenking, Exploited, Crucified Barbara, Eluveitie, Arkona and many others, Furor Gallico are now ready to unleash their full potential as a band, delivering 9 brand new songs infused with passion and sweat, recorded at Metropolis Studio (Depeche Mode, PFM) in Milan, Italy and mixed/mastered by Alex Azzali at Alpha Omega Studio (Behemoth, Carcass). The cover artwork has been made by Kris Verwimp (Absu, Arch Enemy, Marduk).
The CD was recorded in June 2012 at New Sin Studios (WHITESKULL, HELDRITCH, DOMINE, ELVENKING, SECRETSPHERE, LABYRINTH, DARKMOOR, ARTHEMIS). The mastering and engineering duties were done by Luigi Stefann, the "Italian Power Metal Guru" to grant the perfect sound that the band wanted for their new CD. "The Warning After", features 10 tracks of pure melodic metal following and improving the acclaimed style of the previous album "The Death Of The Artists". The CD includes the killing track "Arcade Warriors" featuring Ralph Scheepers from PRIMAL FEAR and a cover artwork by Felipe Machado (RHAPSODY OF FIRE, VANDEN PLAS, BLIND GUARDIAN, VAN CANTO).
