This original study reevaluates central texts of the modernist canon–Eliot's early poetry including The Waste Land, Joyce's Ulysses and Proust's Remembrance of Things Past–by examining sexual energies and identifications in them that are typically regarded as perverse.

From his early "Curtain Raiser" to the late Four Quartets, T. S. Eliot took an interest in all the arts, drawing on them for poetic inspiration and for analysis in his prose. T. S. Eliot and the Arts provides extensive, high quality research about his many-sided engagement with painting, sculpture, museum artefacts, architecture, music, drama, music hall, opera and dance, as well as the emerging media of recorded sound, film and radio.

Short for True Sounds of Liberty, T.S.O.L. struck a nerve in the early 1980s. Now, nearly four decades later, original members Ron Emory (guitar), Mike Roche (bass), and Jack Grisham (vocals), joined by new member Chip Hanna (drums), return with one of their most inspired albums in decades "The Trigger Complex". Set for release via Rise Records on January 27, 2017, Grisham states, “It's a great time to be making music; to have a voice that can be heard.” Going on, he adds, “I'm glad that things look bleak.” The Trigger Complex is a varied and thrilling album that the band should be proud of and people should dig in and fill up on this full meal deal.

Divided We Stand is the eighth studio album by the American hardcore punk band T.S.O.L., released in 2003 through Nitro Records. The 2003 T.S.O.L. edition sounds more akin to their earlier punk phase, and since they always had a thing for melody, tunes such as "Serious" and "Sex Not Violence" don't sound too out of step from modern-day pop-punk acts.

Disappear is the seventh studio album by the American hardcore punk band T.S.O.L., released in 2001 through Nitro Records. The story continues, and for those of you who have lost the plot, this is the third incarnation of TSOL, a dead ringer for the original one, bar the inclusion of new drummer Jay O'Brien into the old lineup of vocalist Jack Grisham, guitarist/vocalist Ron Emory, and bassist Mike Roche. The sound, too, is more reminiscent of yore than the mach-two model, and returns the group to its previous punk roots, or in some cases, punk's roots.
